REFLECTION & PRACTICE

Make a different choice tangible.

Turn a broad hope for change into one small action you can recognize and practice.

← All resources

“I want to feel better” is an understandable hope. A specific action gives you something to try and learn from.

Begin with a normal day

  1. Imagine one everyday moment becoming easier. What would you be doing differently?
  2. Choose a value behind that change: honesty, connection, steadiness, or self-respect.
  3. Name an action within your influence, such as asking one clear question or taking time before agreeing.
  4. Make it small enough to try once this week.
  5. Afterward, ask what you noticed and what you might adjust.
